My New Halfling Life 007

Denise made her way over to the table. She picked up on how many more steps she had to take to get there. While she was taking her normal steps, even with the oversized pants causing issues, she could tell she was moving a lot slower than normal. It was a weird feeling. It was surreal.

As she got closer to the table, the reality of her situation sunk in even more. Her head was the only thing that cleared the top of the table. She looked at the shirt on the table. "Oh gosh... it's... massive" she thought to herself as she felt the material with both of her hands. Looking at how long the sleeves were put doubt into her mind. "This is... this is too much" she said as her eyes began to well up and a tear came down her face. She wiped it away and tried to be strong and look on some sort of bright side. "Well, this should work as a dress... at least".

She pulled the large piece of material off the table, until it slipped off and fell vertically in front of her. She could feel the extra weight of it. She held it up to herself, near shoulder height and she could see the bottom of the shirt was nearly touching the ground. She took pause, remembering to herself recently wearing this shirt with an outfit on a lunch date with Amy. They took a selfie together in the bathroom, she was towering over Amy, and the shirt she now held in front of her was fit perfectly. Now, she held it like... like some sort of oversized weirdly shaped towel, or a shirt for a giant. Her eyes welled up again, causing her to move on, and put it on.

She stepped out of her oversized pants, standing completely naked, and then fought with the shirt, finding the bottom and throwing it over her head, it easily sliding over her now little body. But it wasn't like putting on any ordinary shirt. Everything was out of place. She managed to get one arm into the massive sleeve, but the other popped out through the top. She fought with all the material, trying to orient it and her arms in a way she could get the shirt on. Finally, she got her other arm through the sleeve, with her head catching on the opening at the top. Finally, she wriggled enough that her head poked through, and the shirt quickly fell around her, landing on her shoulders.

As she stuck her arms out, she could see they only came to about where the shirt would expect your elbows to be, the rest drooping below past her fingertips. She could feel a bit of coldness coming up through the large opening below her, considering she had nothing else on and it was like wearing a large dress. The bottom of the shirt brushed up against her shins. While she knew she had to look ridiculous right now, she was at least covered and could now use both of her hands, well, if she could roll up the sleeves properly...

"This... I... ugh!" she said out loud, welling up some more as she looked at her arms extended out through the oversized sleeves. "I guess it works..." she thought to herself.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Denise? It's Amy!" came a muffled voice.

Denise was both glad Amy had arrived but also unhappy that she was there. She didn't want to be seen like this. She didn't want to have to accept the fact that this was most likely her new size. She didn't want to deal with Amy freaking out over it. But what choice did she have?

"One second!" Denise squeaked up towards the door.
