Experiment 76 Part 2 (Scenes 24-31)

Scene 24:

The door slowly opened and a figure dressed all in black, including her hair and makeup, answered, and it definitely wasn't Aurora. This girl was a lot taller, and after opening the door, leaned a skateboard against it, and then reached up to her ear to adjust something in it. Ivana figured it was headphones. The girl's neutral expression, one might call a resting bitch face, quickly turned to a sweet smile when she looked down at little Ivana. "Aww, hi sweetie!" the goth girl answered in a higher tone than what one would expect. Ivana turned her embarrassment back into assertiveness when hearing sweetie for the second time in just the past couple minutes. "I'm no sweetie, sweetie." Ivana shot up to the girl. "You must be Aurora's roommate?" she asked. The girl, taken a bit aback by the kid... or so she thought. "Who wants to know?" the girl shot back down to Ivana, her voice back to a normal, and questioning, tone. "I talked to you yesterday... remember? On the phone? Aurora forgot hers yesterday." Ivana said.

Scene 25:

Aurora's roommate started to connect the dots. "Wait a minute... you are Aurora's boss?" she asked, in a confused look as she stepped forward towards Ivana. Whatever assertiveness Ivana had started to disappear. She took a step back as the much taller woman stepped forward, looming over her even more. "YOU are Ivana? Seriously?" she said down to her, as a much more aggressive bitch face came over her.

Scene 26:

"I am Ivana. Is that surprising to you? And you are?" Ivana asked, trying to hold her own. "It is, I've heard a lot about you from Aurora..." she responded, in a way indicating negativity. "And I'm McKenzie." "Well McKenzie, why are you so surprised I'm Ivana?" she asked, with a bit of nervousness in her voice. She knew the answer, or at least part of the answer, and wanted to put McKenzie in an uncomfortable situation. However, McKenzie was much different than Aurora. "I'm a pretty blunt person, even to people in a position of authority over me, which... you really aren't. I'm sure she doesn't want me telling you this... but from what she tells me about you and your personality, I wouldn't expect you to be so fucking tiny and adorable looking. I seriously thought you were a girl scout, or someone's little sister at the wrong dorm. That outfit is doing you NO favors girl, you should fix that." Ivana did NOT expect such a colorful response.

Scene 27:

"You've got a lot of nerve saying something like that to ME and swearing like that too!" Ivana responded. "And with that touch of a high-pitch tone too... Not helping either. What? Are you not mature enough yet for swear words?" McKenzie fired back. Ivana didn't even know what to say back at that moment, so McKenzie continued. "Anyways, you said you were dropping off her phone, right? You just missed her, she's already in her first class. Why don't you hand it over to me so I can be on my way. I'll see her in an hour or two." Ivana went to open her clutch and pull the phone out. As she was doing this, she realized she just gave McKenzie some power, listening to her immediately and doing as she was told, without responding to her demeaning comments. She didn't understand why she wasn't fighting back, it was in her nature to. Was she really losing all of her authority due to the size loss?

Scene 28:

Ivana handed over the phone, and McKenzie placed her hand on it, but Ivana held onto it tighter, preventing McKenzie from grabbing it. Ivana mustered some strength, she couldn't just let this slide. But as she looked up at the gigantic woman, she couldn't find many words to say. "You are... quite rude, did you know that?" McKenzie, smirked with a quick laugh, rudely placed her other hand on Ivana's shoulder as you would talking down to a small child. "Sweetie, you aren't the first or last person to tell me that one, although most people come at me with more insults than just 'rude'." Ivana took this as an insult in itself. She thrived on putting people down and in their place with words and her authority, yet McKenzie brushed her off as a "nice" critic.

Scene 29:

McKenzie pulled a bit more at the phone, but Ivana tightened her little grip. "Get your hand off me!" Ivana let out. McKenzie just smiled. "You know, with how Aurora talks about you, I'd think you were 7 feet tall or something crazy like that. I was always surprised by how much shit Aurora would take from you, but I figured you were tall and had a powerful personality, like me. Aurora, while I love her to death, has confidence issues, and her small stature doesn't help. But if I knew you were so damn tiny, I would have given Aurora some tips on how to put you in her place, physically at the very least." Ivana couldn't believe what she was hearing. This girl had no filter. Of course, Ivana couldn't tell her the series of events that occurred, that Ivana was probably quite close to McKenzie's height just a day ago. This was no longer so.

Scene 30:

Ivana wanted to rip this girl apart, verbally. But without the physical size to go along with it, Ivana was afraid of what McKenzie could do to her physically. Ivana pushed her luck with a threat. "You've got quite the mouth. It would be a shame if it got Aurora fired." This made McKenzie's attitude even worse. "Oh, really? Going to take it out on someone else to make it go your way? She's not me, I'm me. You deal with me directly." McKenzie scoffed. "How childish of you to say that... but I guess it suits your size. If you fire Aurora, you'll have MUCH bigger problems to deal with. I can assure you of THAT." McKenzie then quickly tugged on the phone, easily pulling it from Ivana's little hand. There was no way for Ivana to get through this girl. Ivana responded "Are you threatening me?" McKenzie just smiled down at Ivana. "I'll make sure Aurora gets this back." as she wiggled the phone in her hand, high above Ivana's head. At this point, Ivana was speechless.

Scene 31:

As McKenzie grabbed her skateboard and turned around to close the door, Ivana wanted to show her who was boss. But not being able to physically talk down to someone, or even at some even playing field of heights, Ivana stopped pushing. While McKenzie did have thick boots on, Ivana didn't even come up to her chest. And with McKenzie's attitude, Ivana didn't want to keep pushing her. After looking up, she spun around, slamming the board onto the ground, causing Ivana to jump back. McKenzie chuckled. "See ya sweetie!" she said, and quickly rode away before Ivana could think of anything to say. As she rolled away, Ivana quickly pointed and tried to think of something to say on the fly. "You... you are a very mean person!" she yelled childishly, as McKenzie continued rolling away, ignoring Ivana.
