"Who came first?" Mamabito comic FLATS
Added 2021-05-21 04:47:58 +0000 UTCHey, Patreon! I've gotten the flats laid down on this page already! It was a little more involved than Memories of Arcadia, with a lot of clipping groups and learning new tools in Clip Studio, but it's really coming along now!!
You might have noticed this bikini I've drawn RenΓ©e in here is reminiscent of another one I drew in this beachy piece from all the way back in November 2019! It was originally going to be the exact same outfit! But, over time, as I drew the character more, I found what colors suit her best... And one of those colors is not blue! It's green! So that bikini changed a little bit! Maybe she picked up a variant from the Able Sisters' store!
This is the last WIP update for this one before the final piece is shared. It might be a little bit, for two reasons:
1. I'm still trying to learn CSP's tools, and its comic tools remain untouched as of now.
2. I've bought a new computer desk, but it's not here yet! And this one I'm using presently is going up in a yard sale this weekend! So art production might be a little weird for a few days!
Until next time, take care of yourselves, and thank you for your continued support!!

I just realized something: You can tell Molly is older by the fact that her hands are more flexible and expressive while Leif still has tennis balls for hands.
