Unreleased Bits: really old cringe animation I made when I was 16/17

Jim's Story 5 - HD upscale (there were actually 4 others before this but they are unwatchable.)
This was sort of released back in 2001, but it wasn't a very good edit. I think we'd just gotten sick of doing it (we being myself and David Ellis who was a friend of mine also getting into animation) we'd just keep adding bits to it when we had free time. We didn't know what we were doing. Sometimes he'd animate a bit and then I would and we'd just make the scripts up as we went along. At some point we just we just decided we'd upload it to see if it would get seen. It didn't. I spammed links on forums sometimes but nobody ever watched it. This was 5 years before youtube. I had no idea how to get it seen. Nobody saw it and we all forgot about it. Anyway I found all the old files on a CD in the best condition they could be (better than the 320x240 version that was floating around) and used modern tools to upscale it. It still looks crap but higher resolution crap. I also cut it down and made the audio less ear piercing I think. It's horrible. Has bad voice acting and is unfunny. You have been warned. Please never upload this to YouTube publicly.

Honestly, still does hold true in rural areas. *facepalm* Kinda like allowing kids to fight wars but not allowing them to drink alcohol and now smoking cigarettes are illegal until 21. Frickin' odd rules!

2024-12-12 01:53:25 +0000 UTCWhat's funny, David...is I'm from the US and the whole scene about giving an 8yo a gun while refusing coffee....just gotta say that I was 8 in 1985 and that's seriously not far off from that timeline...WHATSOEVER! It seemed to hold true for some time, but it aligns perfectly with my age and your release date....so clearly....YOU NAILED IT! Sad LOL
