Here's my powerful mage
I play without using ashes
Light equip load (yeah no helmet nor boots I know I am squishy af but with Opaline Hardtear in a flask it's not too bad I can survive few hits xd besides... light rolls are soo much better than mid rolls)
Sword in the right hand applies scarlet rot pretty useful especially when enemy likes pushing and doesn't allow me to use magic (this crystal sword deals pretty damn good damage on its own so scarlet rot is a bonus)
For magic I burst enemies first with Ranni darkmoon and then comets!
I still haven't reached DLC (I don't rush and I don't really have a lot of time) but I know who is the final boss of the DLC so don't worry about spoilers hihi
