From next month onwards all tiers will be following RoyalRoad's scheduling.
I understand this is a decision that will likely cause many to unsubscribe, but the truth is it was already in consideration over the month because writing 30-35k weeks was becoming unsustainable.
I would like to say that this news is coming because I burnt out due to writing too much.
Unfortunately, that not the case.
As many of you may know I'm disabled and have been for eight months now (I write using dictation due to not being able to use my hands for much). After doing a series of long tests yesterday I was told the condition is likely a fair amount more serious than I realised. The options they listed as likely causes were not great. They were really not great. The tests also aggravated my body so I was in a lot of pain which led to a truly horrible chapter being written. (I will be re-writing chapter 169).
This news (and the pain) have unfortunately placed a lot of pressure on me in a short amount of time and it led to me burning out/unable to concentrate on much else.
I will still endeavour to release all the chapters due for April, but I will be delaying the chapters for this weekend (Australia Time) to complete over the week So there will be no new releases for the next two days.
