Truth be told we were unprepared for such an outpouring of support. But this will be the first of many patron posts as we keep you in the loop during our development.
Launching the Minecraft server on 1.18 was one of our main goals and massive progress has already been made on the 1.18 upgrade! Our next big goals are getting some developer momentum on many of the issues with the codebase we carried over from CivClassic, and starting work on configs and balance.

We will be using the full 1.18 experience - negative y levels and all

2021-12-20 23:52:07 +0000 UTCI don't think anyhting speaks against putting bedrock at -64, how much is above that however could wildly vary from biome to biome. I would be really looking forward to a world with genuine High-/Lowlands, Mountains and creeks that go to the old 0.
