That was an interesting film, I hadn't seen it before. The whole time I thought something was going to happen. My suspicion was that Nishimiya might have another illness besides her deafness, because of the hospital scenes and her strange behavior afterwards, and that it would lead to a tragic twist. I didn't expect the twist in the film. Although when I think back, it was hinted at in Yuzuru's dream the night her grandmother dies. The film somehow reminded me of the movie A Walk to Remember (not an anime). If you ladies haven't seen it yet, you should perhaps react to it. Great film, big emotions and an awesome reaction from you ladies, thanks gor sharing.💜

But it is just so cool how our life experience affect the way we watch and interpret movies though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😇😇 Btw, I’m sorry to hear about your experience with bullying, even if it was just once. Kudos to you for standing up for yourself. That takes a lot of courage. 🌟💯

2024-08-26 20:03:43 +0000 UTCthanks for the reaction it was intresting, you really hated the bully girl. i think the heroine, takes responsibility for the bad things that are done to her because (as she said) she hates herself. this is also a huge problem, if you are not looking out for yourself, who will? its a bit sad that even at teh end she does not seem to look out for herself, albeit she obviously got better dealing with people attackign her, maybe also she is working on actually liking herself. at least the main character makes huge progress. though ironically, the main chracters plot i understand the least, i always isolated myself in school, by my own will, downside is this would make me a target for bullies, but except for two 9th graders when i was in 7th grade nobody ever tried to bully me and they only tried once, and while i did not win the fight, i did not loose, so it never happened again. probably also why i was screaming at the heroine to stand up for herself, not necessarily with fists, but at least with words and setting boundries. but yeah willingly choosing to be my own party at school makes me less able to being emphatic with the main characters catharsis.
