I agree on your reasoning on why modern horror can be scarier. Also a lot of the classics like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm street, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre had really small budgets. They were forced to use what they could to make it scary.

Aww thank you. Don't worry for us. We recover fast 😆

That was an intense reaction, you looked so exhausted towards the end of the movie, I was worried about you. I hope Lan is okay, she mentioned a few times that her stomach hurts. Halloween (2018) is definitely one of the better sequels. I was suspicious of Michael's doctor right from the start; he was too fascinated by Michael. I bet he also had something to do with the accident and Michael's escape. I agree with Tien and Chi, it's always better to fight than to give up. But as I wrote in my comment for Halloween (1978), that's easy to say when you're watching a movie and are safe. But it's hard to predict how you'll behave when such horror really suddenly hits you. I think it's so nice how much you girls love your country, as soon as the topic of Vietnam came up you were immediately in a good mood.🙂 That was an awesome reaction, one of your best so far, keep up the good work.💜

I think this is the most modern horror film that The Angels and The Munchies have watched. I think Chi is right. Modern horror movies are much scarier than the older films. This makes sense because the new film makers can build on what has came before and also technology has advanced a lot, both in equipment and the ability to do special effects. This film was made by the production company BLUMHOUSE, and they have made two more Halloween movies after Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends. Last i heard, Blumhouse and Universal plan to reboot the franchise with Halloween: A New Chapter. Much like Michael Myers, this franchise refuses to die. Whether you ladies are reacting to old horror films, or new ones, I can't wait to watch.
