Let's clarify for them that OJ 100% killed his wife and that guy. A slick and skilled defense attorney and the racial politics at the time gave him that ridiculous verdict.

As one commenter said below, the movie is based off the Police Squad series which was a spoof of the detective noir style shows popular back then. Many of the jokes in the movies are used in the series. Leslie N. is one of the best dead-pan delivery actors ever!

2024-11-24 21:47:02 +0000 UTCvery fun reaction, always loved these movies, if you loved this movie you must react to the sequels, they are just as funny, Leslie Nielsen was a serious actor through the 60s and 70s, usually playing authority figures, i remember him as a ship captain in The Poseidon Adventure, however after his role in Airplane! he became a comedy star as his dry, serious delivery of lines was very funny when he is made to say something ridiculous.

It's generally thought he did murder her, but he was found not guilty at the trial, but did later go to jail for an armed robbery. He initially got famous for being a VERY good American Football player. He's dead now. I still think you would both love the film 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN. It's a great comedy. If you're going to do Christmas movies, you should watch Die Hard, Gremlins, and ELF.

It's Enrico Palazzo!" reminds me that you're gonna really want to watch Pee Wee's Big Adventure (1985) if you're feeling like going on a silly wild adventure in an iconic '80s comedy. You got the ending of OJ's fate a little wrong too, btw (i.e., He was found not guilty in criminal court so he didn't go to jail, but he was found guilty in civil court so he paid a lot of money which, along with lawyer fees, made him poor, so he got involved in a robbery/kidnapping which actually sent him to prison for 9 years, after which he lived a free life until he finally died this year.). David Zucker, director of these movies said of OJ, "His acting was a lot like his murdering: He got away with it, but no one believed him."

The movie is basically a modern version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It's an awesome comedy with Bill Murray at his best. It's my favorite Christmas movie, that I watch every year and it would be awesome to watch it with you this year. Other recommendations. Alita: Battle Angel is a 2019 cyberpunk action movie based on an anime. IT Chapter 1 (2017) and IT Chapter 2 (2019) are two great Stephen King horror adaptations.
