I'll never get over that poor cartoon shoe. 😭

Ladies, you are icons! Love the look and the reaction. One other reference note is the singing sword is a parody and homage to the old Looney Tunes and the way they portrayed Frank Sinatra. That was Sinatra singing and the sword is supposed to look like a young Frank Sinatra as depicted in the old cartoons. Warner Brothers and Disney agreed to have their animated characters portrayed for the movie for copyright. But they had to agree to have equal screen time. That is why Mickey and Bugs were always together.

I’d love to see you check out “Tokyo Godfathers” this Christmas season 😉

It really is a classic!

To answer your question about how they make the cartoons interact with the real world... One way they did it was to make small machines that would perform the action, then the animators would cover it up with the cartoon animation. The scene where Roger is breaking plates over his head was done by a small machine arm that would grab plates and break them. In a few moments with Jessica Rabbit, they would use a real actress and draw Jessica over the actress later. The actors would also practice the various scenes with physical replicas of the cartoon characters before shooting the scenes alone. All kinds of neat techniques used in this movie.

Brandon

Love this movie. Also you both look beautiful as always.

I agree with you. It's held up extremely well and still a fun movie. I always loved Daffy Duck fighting Bugs Bunny in the old Looney Tunes cartoons lol.

Looney

I'm still impressed with how they managed to mix real-world actors with cartoon characters in 1988. That was the pinnacle of special effects before CGI was used in movies. And let's be honest, even after 36 years, it still looks better than some CGI effects. The two ducks at the piano performance were Donald Duck (Disney) and Duffy Duck (Warner Bros, from the Bugs Bunny Show). I always thought Duffy was the cooler duck.😅 I love your cosplay and especially the way you two get into the characters a little during the reactions.🙂 That was a hilarious reaction ladies, keep up the good work!💜

Answering your question at the end, yes this is technically a disney movie, it was released under Touchstone Pictures, which was owned by disney and was how they released movies that were not entirely family friendly without branding them a disney movie, because Who Framed Roger Rabbit? has some sexual jokes (such as the booby trap joke) and dark humor and director Robert Zemeckis wouldn't cut any of that out, they released it under Touchstone Pictures so that it wouldn't be branded a Disney movie, but it is, it's complicated, so you wouldn't have seen it on the disney channel, Tien remember when you watched Armageddon on the Movie Munchies channel? that movie was a Touchstone movie so that means it was a Disney movie in disguise, Touchstone stopped existing around the 2010's mostly due to the success of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (great movies by the way if you ever decide to react to them) which had to be branded Disney because those films are based on a theme park ride at Disneyworld, but they were more violent than your average Disney movie, after the massive success of those movies there wasn't much need for Touchstone anymore, however Disney bought 20th Century Fox in 2019 and have used the 20th Century label to release more adult films again, which is how you end up with Deadpool & Wolverine. Also props to Bob Hoskins for acting against nothing for the whole movie before CGI was invented, 'Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers' (2022) is a film directly inspired by this film if you want another film like this one to watch, also great reactions as always, you girls look amazing in your cosplays, that red dress is incredible, Thanks angels!

Jonathan Kidman

Helloooooooo Angel Rabbit 🥵🤣

Daryl

Oh wow. One of my favorite movies ever. This was unexpected but I can't wait to watch this. Also you ladies look great as Roger and Jessica.

Looney

Glad to see you ladies checking out this classic! One of my childhood favorites for sure, but I think I appreciate it even more as an adult. The acting, the music, the the CEL animation, the physical props bringing objects to life... a masterpiece of film if you ask me! There's just something special about the old style of hand-crafted CEL animation, especially with the intricate shading done in this movie to blend them into the scenes. Love it!
