Excellent. I had great fun watching episodes 9-12 with you today. Thank you, Angels. 💖

The Broke Back Mountain reference just reminded me of a Planes Trains and Automobiles trailer recut. Its a repost of the original but still the same. I think it's really funny but probably not for those of serious temperament. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sABKVWU7Ork&ab_channel=shrode65

Great reaction I really your channel. Please watch Gremlins from 1984. It's one of my favorite movies

Did you know the term Redneck comes from union workers who wore red scarfs to identify they were union

For episode 12: I grew up in the deep South, so I have some Redneck Heritage. Haha. Lang is correct. Those areas of the country tend to be more religious than the larger cites. A church on every corner. They also tend to have a different accent, though not exactly the same everywhere, they're known to have a southern drawl, and speak a bit slower. I don't think most people would be offended by the term redneck. Here are some terms that might be more offensive. Hillbilly (that's like a redneck from the mountains) Country Bumpkin (This means you're a dumbass from the country) Hick (same as Bumpkin, more commonly used) Swamp rat (redneck from the swamp. I wouldn't use this one. Swamp rats have no sense of humor.) Good Ol' Boy (usually not derogatory, but could be if you said it the right way) Words that no one uses any more but I still find very funny are: Hayseed, Corn-fed, Grit-eater, clodhopper. There's a trope in horror movies in which city people go to the country and run into some real backwoods people and the city folk either offend them somehow and get killed or the backwoods people just kill them for no reason. There's a really funny movie that you should definitely watch called TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL that makes fun of this type of movie and is really funny and not scary at all.

I will never get tired of these reactions. They're always so funny. Two days early but Happy New Year Banana Angels!

The Mogwai is from the movie Gremlins. It's directed by Joe Dante and produced by Stephen Spielberg. Definitely watch it, but kind of a Christmas movie. The joke with the two horses is from a movie called Broke-Back Mountain. It's about two cowboys that are in love so the joke is that when the horse looks in the tent, they are having sex. I never got bullied when I was a little kid. Most everyone at my school did get pushed around by the older kids, but not me, because my older brother was a very large guy and was known for fighting a lot. That was the good news. The bad news was the giant crazy guy everyone was afraid...well, I had to share a room with him.

Great reaction, as always. I forgot how crazy some of the jokes in this show can be. But you seem to handle it well. I'm impressed that you were able to pick up on many of the cultural references. When Hubert said "six more weeks of winter", he's referring to Ground Hog Day. Which is an old American tradition where the end of winter is predicted by a rodent coming out of the ground. There's also a comedy movie with the same name.

Lots of good Movie references in the first episode. The scene with Quagmire on the golf course is a homage to the movie Happy Gilmore. It's a comedy by Adam Sandler and in my opinion one of his better movies. The Mogwai is a fantasy creature from Gremlins 1 - 2. They are two cult horror comedies, definitely worth watching. The scene with the two horses and the tent was a reference to the movie Brokeback Mountain. It's a movie about two gay cowboys, so you can probably imagine what the horse saw in the tent. Brokeback Mountain is really a very good movie that is worth watching. Unfortunately I have to disappoint Tien, I was neither a bully nor was I bullied. I was never in a group either. We did have the athletes, nerds, cool kids and so on but I always managed to hang out peacefully with everyone. Maybe I was just lucky or my school days were just boring.😅 The end of episode 12 was a homage to the end credits of the Little House in the Prairie episodes. This was a very popular family series from the 70s and 80s that I loved watching as a child. The overlay for the episodes was wrong, it shows for both episodes, Season 5, Episode 9. It was a fun reaction as always Angels!💜

I had to fight my way through school, the most people I had to fight at once was 13 in year 5 and to be fair I didn't win but I didn't lose ether.

Imperial Mort

Are you sure it’s eleven and twelve I feel like it said eleventeen and twelveteen.🤣 Maybe I’m misread.

Great reaction. I think the girls at Quagmires house were speaking Thai. Cherry Chevapravatdumrong is one of the writers for the show and is Thai. She probably wrote the Thai dialogue that Quagmire said in that scene.
