Full-length Terminator Judgement Day

Full-length Terminator Judgement Day

Fun fact about this movie, Arnold wanted to pick up Robert Patrick when they first meet slamming each other into the walls but James said no because the t-1000 is more denser. And in the bike seen when John takes off on his dirt bike, Robert caught John so many times because he trained for that scene. A very good film. All my siblings favorite film. The rest of the terminator films are ok but nothing is as good as the first 2 movies.

Saints_Madness

Please continue with the movie series. Thanks

The Tien-inator!

But that just creates more logical holes. With this technology you can send practically anything through time. So why not send modern weapons or clothing for easier infiltration? That would have helped the T-800 and Kyle Reese a lot.πŸ€”

Digitalversager

It wasn't like that in the past. There wasn't the internet like there is today, but the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger is the hero this time was spoiled early on in many TV promos. Watching the Angels surprised by the twist was really nice.πŸ˜…

Really enjoyed this! And great discussion afterwards; and yeah on the timelines changing the future as they change things in the past, I get confused tracking that logic too, lol. Thanks!

I have to disagree on Aliens, as well. It's a bog standard action film, which were a dime a dozen in the 80s. It's decent enough for what it is, but it's not better than Alien.

I see this like Aliens. They are so much better and more watchable than the first ones. Could watch them a million times(Terminator 2 and Aliens)

BabymetalRocks

Can yall please do the Matrix Trilogy? =)

BabymetalRocks

Who recognized Hank from Breaking Bad as a SWAT guy?

Manospondylus

Arnold being good in this one is such a good twist that catches everyone off guard. I will always love this movie. It's just so good. Amazing reaction as always Angels.

People go gaga over this one and I've never felt the same. It's just a big budget rehash of the original film with the Arnold twist to differentiate. For me this was the beginning of Cameron's downward slide as a director and the severe ratcheting up of his ego (which, by many accounts, has always been a problem).

Skynet grows a synthetic flesh pod around the T-1000 to enable time travel, acting as a biological container for the time displacement process. Once through, the T-1000 would rip out of this cocoon and begin its mission.

I was such a big fan of this movie as a kid. Back then, it took a long time for movies to be released from the cinema to home video (VHS). I remember when the movie came out on VHS, I watched it several times in a row.πŸ˜… It's still one of my favorite movies of all time. Time travel movies are always a bit shaky when it comes to logic, you have to be a bit forgiving when it comes to that.πŸ˜‰ Changing the future by changing the past is always a dangerous game. Even if you try to do good, the unforeseeable consequences can be even worse and of course you always run the risk of wiping out your own existence. Our world isn't the best but maybe we shouldn't mess around in the past anyway...if we ever invent time travel. Yes, the T-1000 is also a very cool concept where you have to leave logic aside a bit. I've always wondered how the T-1000 was able to travel through time in the first place. In the first Terminator Movie we learn that no metal objects can be sent through the time machine. The T-800 is organic on the outside, so that makes sense, but that is not the case with the T-1000. The T-1000 is not quite as invulnerable as it seems. There is an extended version of Terminator 2 in which you can see how it slowly loses control of its abilities after being frozen. Here is a clip: https://youtu.be/5uzHRSCm7VA?si=kgH_cCh8NkQ1mJEi That was a great reaction, Angels, as always!πŸ’œ

I remember meeting Robert Patrick, who plays the T-1000 in London in 2021. I told him how much I loved Terminator 2 and he looked at me very cold faced like in the movie and just said "Call to John". I was both very excited and terrified at the same time!! πŸ˜‚

Liquid Nitrogen has a temperature of -196 Celsius. It has many uses in science. One that I can think of offhand is for storage of cell lines. Bacteria can be suspended in special media and stored at that temperature. It causes them to suspend metabolism and allows for long term storage. You can basically take them out of the freezer later, culture them in media and continue your research. Liquid nitrogen basically boils and evaporates into the environment when exposed to regular temperatures. It can be dangerous if you are in an enclosed space as the nitrogen will fill the room and cause a person to suffocate. They will not know that they are suffocating because nitrogen does not produce a response in the body that people can recognize when inhaled. This is probably because a certain percentage of nitrogen is present in the air we breath. A person will basically pass out before they know what happened. You also don't want to touch it for obvious reasons. Also, they used mercury for the liquid metal effects in the movie.

Vogon Poet

All three would be great choices.

This is one of the best science fiction movies of all time! So glad you're reacting to it so close to your reaction of the first Terminator movie! Thank you! ❀πŸ”₯

Curtis House

Los Angeles just can't catch a break in the 2020's
