Thanks for grinding out left wing mainstream propaganda all over our cozy internet spaces again, clearly ppl like you need to rethink how you consume US politics from the media because of how deliberately fake they are, no one is out to kill the alphabet community so stop the fear mongering and enjoy the members only content.

The statue you see in the beginning when V blows up the Old Bailey is not the Statue of Liberty. The statue is of Lady Justice who represents fairness, a balance of facts, and authority. The statue of Lady Justice in the movie is the evil government's version of justice. The statue of Lady Justice is often found in front of courthouses in western society.
The statue of Lady Justice normally contains three important elements. First, she is holding a scale which is used to balance evidence and facts. The sword represents the authority and power to punish those who commit crimes. Finally, Lady Justice wears a blindfold to represent fairness without bias. In the movie, the statue is not wearing a blindfold indicating that the government is very biased and unfair.

That movie is not reflective of any real American political dynamics and has nothing relevant to say. It's also boring and divisive. No good would come of that.

Great reaction angels! Just to clear up a few things you missed or that you might want to know;
Gordon Dietrich (the tv show host) is gay (he has some gay erotic art on his wall which is how evey knows) and has to invite young women like evey over to give the impression that he is straight, that he is another powerful man using his position to sleep with attractive young women, but it is a lie as he is gay.
In the Domino sequence the last Domino that doesn't fall represents Evey as she was not at first part of his plan, while the rest of his Revolution happens exactly as he planned he does not control Evey and she was not part of his original plan, it's up to her what happens after parliament explodes, he has to die with the hate and fear of the old regime and she has to continue forth with whatever comes next.
The little girl with glasses at the end of the movie does in fact still die, if you watch the scene again when the group of people dressed as V start removing their masks you can see the little girl who was shot, Evey's parents, Gordon Dietrich and Valerie the lesbian woman who wrote the note that inspired V, all these characters are still dead but it's more of a metaphorical thing that their death has led to this revolution and they didn't die in vain and and also as Evey says V isn't just one man now he represents the people, he was you he was me he was everybody.
The fifth of November is a celebrated holiday in England also known as Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes night, there are generally a lot of fireworks or a bonfire, it is meant to commemorate a real time when someone called Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of Parliament and assassinate the king, however he was stopped and hanged as you saw in the movie, as someone who is English I don't really know why we celebrate someone who tried to blow up Parliament and when I tried to look up the history of it it gets quite complicated however I think some people see him as some sort of symbol that a normal man could stand up to power, as the film says 'people shouldn't be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people', honestly i just enjoy the fireworks.
Hope that helped, I think you understood the movie more than movie munchies so maybe you can go and tell Chi and Hella how smart you are lol

When Tien started singing, I thought this reaction was actually meant for Valentine's Day and you forgot to upload it😅
V for Vendetta is based on a comic book. I really like the movie, the topics it deals with will always be important.
Of course the actress who plays Evelyn looks familiar to you, she also plays Padme in Star Wars Episodes 1 - 3.
And you also saw the actor who plays V recently in another movie, he plays Agent Smith in The Matrix.
That was a great reaction Angels, as always.💜
