The Book version of this movie makes a few things clearer. The important part is that Padma is killed by Sidious using a ritual to drain her of life since she had the best chance of bringing Anakin back to the light. The movie make seem like she lost the will to life.

Boyfriend: *Wakes up in the morning* Tien: That is the strongest lightsaber i ever saw!

I clicked on the notification about Constantine and it's not there. Even in the search, it shows nothing. What gives??

Mr. Book

Constantine?

Ty and Leona

What a great movie. I honestly have it up there with Empire Strikes Back.

BabymetalRocks

Great reaction! Please please please do the Kenobi TV show. It’s short and tells a story I know you would love! It also expands upon how Anakin felt becoming Vader. It’s amazing.

Jef Etters

after watching the clone wars i begin to side with Anakin and his feelings towards the jedi council.

Good LORD, Lan!!!!! Get a new nose passage or something. Does she do that all throughout her day, every day? SNORTSNORTSNORTSNORTSNORT 😀😀😀😀😀

Yoda tells Luke that the future is always changing and that is why the visions of the future aren't always correct. Emperor Palpatine only told Anakin that he didn't know how to resurrect the dead until after he already betrayed the Jedi.

Been waiting on this one. Great reaction. And you two are right. The jedi couldn't sense the sith lord because he was so powerful and hiding his presence. Also Tien and her lightsaber had me laughing. Super serious part of the movie. Her lightsaber turns on. "Sorry sorry" -Tien. 🀣🀣🀣

Star Wars was really the tragic story of Anakin and his struggle between good and evil. Great review ladies.

You two are very keen! Palpatine did have something to do with Anakin's creation. It's covered in the comics though. There are some important deleted scenes from the movie that help to explain some of Anakin's doubts, suspicions, and jealousy. They are on YouTube if you search for "revenge of the sith deleted scenes". There was a greater purpose for Anakin that wasn't evil, even though Palpatine influenced Anakin's creation. There is an animated series called, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". It covers a lot of details that happened between episodes 2 and 3. There is a 3-part story that actually explains what Anakin being The Chosen One really meant. Long story short, Anakin chose a different path and that played a huge part about why Anakin was seduced by the dark side. It's a very spiritual 3-part story. I'll say nothing else that could spoil things because, like I said, you two are very keen. Also, MTV did a couple of hilarious parodies for their awards. If you look on YouTube for "MTV awards star wars parody" you should be able to find them. They are worth the watch for a good laugh!

Anakin was the chosen one. He wiped out all the Jedi, and killed the Emperor. Hence , he brought balance to the force.

Collin

Same!

Tien: "Why do you have to be handsome and evil at the same time?" Lan: "I know it's always the same." You two are simply priceless.πŸ˜… The lightsaber duel between Obi Wan and Anakin is so epic, you can really see that both actors are giving their all. I think Anakin wasn't evil from birth. Many things come together here. Firstly, Jedi usually become students in the temple at a very young age. So they have no connection to their family and learn to control their feelings early on. Remember in the first part, Yoda tells Qui-Gon that Anakin is too old for training. Anakin came to Jedi training already feeling like he missed his mother and was afraid for her. That's why he didn't have the ability to control his anger when his mother died. There is even a theory among fans that Palpatine sends Anakin the visions of his mother and Padme. In addition, he is being manipulated by the Dark Lord The whole time. The Jedi are honest with Anakin and want him to take the right (difficult) path. Meanwhile, Palpatine only tells him what he wants to hear. That is perhaps one of Anakin's greatest weaknesses - his big ego, but that alone does not make him evil. In the end Anakin only wants to protect Padme, and the desperation of not being able to do so drives him to the dark side. I would like to suggest Spaceballs for a reaction here again. It is a funny Star Wars parody by Mel Brooks. That was an awesome reaction young Jedi, may the force be with you.πŸ’œ

Plz the Obi-Wan Series next ... it takes place 10 years after Episode III and 10 year before Episode IV.

"That's why you use protection!" "F*** the husband..." 🀣 This is, hands down, the best reaction to this film I have ever seen. You were both so invested and so entertaining! Your insights at the end were great, too. It's almost like rediscovering these films through your eyes. Your perspective has also helped overlook some of the flaws viewers tended to fixate on when these were released. Thanks for that and thanks for all the fun! As for Anakin, I think he was very much a product of his environment. He was a slave, then taken away from his mother, and when he finally found her again she died. I think he may have transferred some of his mother obsession to Padmé. That doubled down on his fear of loss. That fear is what made him susceptible to the dark side. He never learned the typical Jedi detachment. Perhaps because he was older than the usual Jedi recruits. Just my $.02. ETA: The lightsabers were fun and not at all distracting.

The sequels too plss!!
