lol You 2 are silly. You make me laugh but yea we have laser cannons now, that's how Maui was destroyed, by a high intensity laser. It burned everything up except colors of blue. As for robots, Japan is winning the race right now. They are far more advanced then any other country right now. While the world worry's about destroying itself Japan is leading the race in technology. The second robocop is good but the third is garbage. I look forward to to that reaction and the remake is good as well.

The RoboCop trilogy is good. They also remade Robocop in 2014.

"If you have RoboCop, can you have RoboCriminal?"
Watch RoboCop 2 and find out!

You definitely aren't alone. There's a reason why there ended up being a TV cartoon and the kid-friendly Robocop 3.
I know it's a tired meme, but it really does say something about society.

Lan: All jokes aside, I feel like he's running on Windows, he's kinda slow.
In the last two reactions, your Ladies commentary was really hilarious, I love it.
With these old sci-fi movies I always find it funny that the people can build super modern cyborgs, but still have old tube TVs and no cell phones.
You just have to love the 80s.😅
RoboCop is a real classic with awesome practical effects. I hope you'll watch RoboCop 2, it was pretty good too.
Great reaction Angels, as always!💜

Starship Troopers is such an underrated film. People miss the actual message in the satire, but even just for the sake of being a cool movie, it’s absolutely up there for me.

This is one of the best satire films of the 80s. The production design is top-notch and the score is brilliant, but sadly underrated (much like Craig Safan's Last Starfighter soundtrack). On that note, I would love to see a Starfighter reaction from the Angels someday.
ETA: Tien's shocked faces throughout absolutely cracked me up! 🤣

Another director exploring extremity at the time was David Cronenberg. I'd recommend Videodrome or Scanners first, but The Fly is his most famous film from that era.

I'd buy that for a dollar! This movie is part of a sort of unofficial trilogy by director Paul Verhoeven. The other two are Total Recall and Starship Troopers. They're all known for their great practical effects and dark humor/satire. Movie Munchies never did Total Recall, maybe you can do all 3.

One of my favorite children's movies! I only say that because I remember having this movie on VHS around age 8 and watching it regularly. 😆

I think this might be your first Paul Verhoeven film. Total Recall is great too and stars Arnold.
