You girls are funny even when it is dramatic. Tien is crazy funny. Specially when she's angry. :)) but the part about the dogs is comedy gold from both of you. You make so many good jokes that I really have to watch now, every reaction you made.

Rene Petitclerc

I've mention the movie before but The Last of the Mohicans (1992) takes place during the French and Indian War in 1757. The same war that keeps getting referenced about the characters past actions. If it's of interest to you ladies. Just putting it out there.

Social media and video games have become so dominate in kids lives. My spare time was often spent diving down historical rabbit holes of anything that caught my interest. Usually militaristic stuff. Mail order binders with airplane profiles and facts. That was all before social media. My favorite memories with my father are when I got interested in topics he knew well and I'd pick his brain. Vietnam war was one of those topics. lol

Ah, the good ol' Mel Gibson propaganda machine strikes again!! 😏 Lan, I am constantly amazed at how much you know about history and especially American history. You know as much or more than many Americans! Best comment and made me belly laugh was Tien saying "O-bye-o." LOL. Makes me smile just thinking about it. Ohio was not a state during this time, but it was a territory so when they were talking about it, the territory was actually larger than the current state of Ohio. Great reaction again!

That is a great series and more to the truth of the Revolution. John Adams is an overlooked founding father in many ways but probably the most instrumental in getting France, Spain, and the Dutch to join the revolution. Jefferson and Franklin get a lot of the credit but Adams was doing a lot behind the scenes.

"Amistad" is also a really good American history one, a really overlooked movie. It's worth checking it out if you're looking for movies!

Beau Tanner

This is great guys. PLEASE consider "1917"!! :) It's a really epic movie that would work great for your channel.

Beau Tanner

Are there any Vietnamese history movies from Vietnam? That would be cool and interesting.

Tien "A dog is a fine meal.". Lan "For the record, guys, we don't eat dogs.". Tien "Not anymore.". You ladies are so hilarious.😅 For me this movie always tried a little too hard to repeat the success of Braveheart. I don't know if it worked financially, but as far as the movie goes, I think Braveheart is the much better movie. Don't get me wrong, The Patriot is a good movie. But it's far too overdramatic and the patriotic theme of the movie is constantly being forced to hard into the foreground. It's a bit too much for me. Lan, the flying machine, (balloon), that you're referring to is called a zeppelin. They were very popular for a while in the early 20th century but were quickly replaced by airplanes. Now the only question that remains is Mel Gibson a Patreon member of the Asian Angels?🤔 That was an awesome reaction, Angels, as always.💜

Mel Gibson is American, but was raised and trained as an actor in Australia, where he attended the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), plus then began his film career acting in Australian movies. However Mel was born in the USA, but his father moved his family to Australia, whilst Mel was in his early teens.

Christopher Young

I believe she spent some time in the US on a student thing. I think I heard that at some point.

Manospondylus

Yeah. Challenging it would have been career ending at best and life threatening with that guy.

The HBO mini series John Adams (2008) is quite a good show about the American Revolution that goes more into the politics of it.

I grew up a few miles from where the British surrendered at Yorktown beach, Virginia, 1781. You can still visit and tour the battlefields and the cave that Cornwallis hid in during the final days of the war. Everytime I visit the beach I think it's crazy that I'm eating and drinking beer at the place where men were dying for our independence 244 years ago.

Blaine

Amazing reaction. Tien going from crying to bloodlust shortly after was great. You two are so funny together during your reactions. Also, I am always impressed with Lan's knowledge.

Looney

Bad News. Mel Gibson is actually Australian. haha. Of course, the revolutionary war is real, and they used some real British soldiers' names, but that's about it as far as accuracy goes. The movie ignores that a lot of people living in the colonies remained loyal to the Crown/King George. You mentioned Benjamin Franklin. He's on the hundred-dollar bill and he played a big part in getting the French to give the Americans an assist. The aircraft in the opening credits are called Blimps. Hey, speaking of Mel Gibson being Australian. He got his start with Australian director George Miller. You should definitely watch some George Miller films. I would suggest Road Warrior starring Mel Gibson, and then Fury Road. The stunts in the movies are wild.

Steven

Blimp, or airship

Chris Johnson

the first officer that was killed after he said "Thank you for taking care of Hiis Majesty's Soldiers" was not happy about killing of Thomas, burning the house and blah blah blah. He did do his duty and followed his orders even if he disagreed. He also died a Soldier's Death. so, i guess its a wash as far as that goes.

Matthew Maxon

Lan pretty sharp on world history

Scott

This one is about Tom Brady, right?

Steven

Can’t wait to watch this one ladies. Hope you’re doing well!
