Tien, you mentioned a broadway show when they were singing. There is a broadway show written by Eric Idle, the guy singing in the end, called Spamalot. That is the broadway version of Monty Python's search for the Holy Grail. It is absolutely hilarious and if you ever get a chance to see it, go watch it. At the end of each show, they sing this song from Life of Brian and all of the audience joins in. It is fantastic and fun!!

There's a lot that has to be censored for the YouTube version, unfortunately, which is why I think it doesn't get done as often as Life of Brian and the (to my mind) utterly played out Holy Grail.

2025-05-27 08:44:48 +0000 UTCThis film was made in the mid 1970's, it was very controversial at the time as many thought it was making fun of Christianity.. However this was not the case rather it was a comedy about Brian who happened to live at same time as Jesus. It should be noted for the interrogation scene of Pontius Pilot & Brian, where they talk about 'Biggus Dickus' that the actors playing the Roman guards had been instructed not too laugh at the name 'Biggus Dickus', and threatened if they laughed they would not be paid for the scene to add to the atmosphere on set for this scene in the movie. In reality they did pay actors who played the Roman guards for this scene.
