when they got the star of david confused with a satanic pentagon, those two are not far apart from each other these days

You were missing the Arabic and Egyptian subtitles, it's an issue with some movies where if you have [CC] on, it removes the in-movie subtitles for some reason. But when the girl stabbed herself she said to Pharaoh "My body is no longer your temple" which is a part I'm bummed you missed

Dao nay ban the nao Yuri.
Welcome to the Asian Angel’s crew! Glad to have you.
Brendan Fraser’s best performances had to be in the Mummy films he starred in. He deserves more recognition and praise from Hollywood for all the work he’s done. I think he’s an underrated actor.
By the way Tien thanks for reacting to this movie with Lan & Yuri, even though you’ve already watched it with Movie Munchies.

Damn, those nice looking teeth make for a beautiful smile on the new girl, and she's hot too. I hope she is part of the Lord of the Rings reactions

Welcome Yuri (hope that is spelled right) This was another fun reaction. Johnathan is my favorite character in these two movies. And it was funny how Yuri always sounded so disappointed in Beni's choices haha.

I'll give you some fun word origin stuff. BOOBY TRAP originally meant something like a practical joke, and BOOBY meant a dumb person, so a BOOBY TRAP was literally something a dumb person would fall for. Around the first world war, it took on its more sinister meaning of using a trap to kill someone, because they started killing soldiers with traps.
While there were curses inscribed on tombs in ancient Egypt, there are sadly not that many traps. I think the primary defense against grave robbers were a secret location.
Also, Egyptians didn't invent the concept of a vengeful mummy that fucked your shit up if you robbed his tomb. That started in the late 1800s in Europe when the British and French were colonizing that area and stealing their artifacts and their mummies. It was Gothic and Victorian writers that saw these mummies and were like, "Hmm, what if they got pissed off we robbed their tomb..."

The three ancient Egyptian characters were real people, but they didn't live at the same time so the story itself is just fiction.

Welcome Yuri, nice to meet you. I hope you have fun with the Angels, movies, and the community!🙂
Even if the CGI is a bit outdated these days, The Mummy is still a classic. They don't make such cool adventure movies anymore.
Since Lan mentioned pyramids and aliens, I'd like to recommend the 1994 movie Stargate. It's a classic movie that launched Roland Emmerich's carrer as a director and spawned several successful series. The movie is definitely a must-watch.
It was awesome reaction, as always Angels.💜
