2025-11-09 04:03:39 +0000 UTCI think I was around 11 the first time I saw this... and I know I've seen it at least 10 times prior to this. It still makes me emotional every time. John Williams (the same guy who did the music for Star Wars) did the music for many Speilberg films (including this one), and always does a great job at making the music induce emotions too.

2025-10-20 06:51:48 +0000 UTCAt 1:57:00 when you wonder why ET was down in the river… if you look at that scene again, notice there is a Raccoon next to ET, and it does not run away even when Mike comes running to get ET. This is very strange behavior from a Raccoon. Normally Raccoons flee from Humans. So my Theory is: ET wandered away from Elliott because he sensed the Raccoon nearby, possibly injured or sick, and he saved the Raccoon with the last of his strength, and collapsed. The raccoon knew that ET had saved it and was grateful, so it stayed to try to help ET, which is why it didn't run away from Mike — it only left after it saw that Mike was helping ET. … Or that's my Theory, anyway. Been saying it for years. Nobody ever notices the Raccoon.

A heartwarming story about an adorable little girl and her TV friends 😮🫣😊. Asian Angels 💚💙
