Fred Thompson was already a senator and ran for president prior to doing this movie. He didn't "leave Hollywood behind" HAHAHA. He came crawling back after he failed at the presidency. He was a horrible politician.

2025-10-17 03:49:16 +0000 UTCLoved this. This movie has impeccable horror vibes early on, Ethan Hawke killing it as a lead, the vintage snuff footage and a very creepy soundtrack. Unfortunately I do think it suffers where a lot of horror movies do, its act 3, because the slow-mo ghost kids and the over explained goth god really aren't done well. I'm not saying I know a better way it could have gone but it had such a great concept and went generic with it.

But I think it would have been better if it was an actual dude wearing a mask that was getting kids to kill for him, instead of bringing the supernatural in and making it demons and ghosts.

2025-10-16 20:03:58 +0000 UTCThis film is directed by Scott Derrickson and written by C. Robert Cargill. They've worked on a lot of movies together, usually horror and usually with good results. They even teamed up on Marvel's first Dr. Strange movie, but got fired-or as they say in Hollywood, "left the project for creative differences"- from the sequel because they wanted to make it into a real horror movie.

The mythology of Bughuul is so good and the twist at the end caught me off guard. I also thought that they would be safe after they moved. The Super 8 movies are also so scary. Even though you don't really see anything, the movie with the lawnmower is always the worst for me, just imagining what's happening is enough. Yes there is Sinister 2 and the police officer plays the main role in that movie. Unfortunately the second part isn't as good as the first but it's still a good watch. So if you're interested it would be worth reacting.😉 That was an awesome reaction Angels, the movie selection this Halloween has been awesome so far, thanks.💜
