Snow Bunny - Really, REALLY ROUGH Thumbnail Outfit Designs...(Work-In-Progress 01)
Added 2019-09-08 22:58:27 +0000 UTC
Dear Prissy Flouncy Pink & Bouncy Patrons...
I hope You've all be having wonderful weekends. :)
This hasn't been the start I would have hoped for with this image... I'm not particular happy with any of the outfit concepts, either in sillhouette or detailing. I think maybe I've been looking forward to working on this Snow-Bunny Concept for so long, that I'm judging this look very heavily, as it will serve as an interesting experiment, regarding just how closely the reality of my work can live up to my own imagination.
I'm also finding myself torn between more of a grounded sissy-bimbo look and an over-the-top prissy-sissy look. In either case, I will definitely be devoting more time to clothing & concept research.

I've kind-of (but not quite) included some of the elements you've mentioned Dov... ^^ 'The High Heel Boot Pose' however, is one which I can Confirm has been carried over into the Final Image. :)

These are all great thumbnails. My favorites are the refined third hood (with the long ears) and the tail, the outfit on the bottom-left (with the bells) and the boots on the first one (with the pose letting us see the heel).

Your selection choices aren't too far off from the actual look I decided to go with Roro... ^^ Although I feel I should say that the 'Bunny' element of the Term Snow-Bunny, carries less of a literal to it.

i'm always tardy! *giggles*
For me a great combination would be:
- the upper body of the upper-middle model, to just above the waist;
- the bottom part from the top right or the bottom left model;
- that super cute subtle knee bend from the bottom right model. Because that accentuates hir feminine tushy curve.
Oh and something i always wuvs is a very white and fluffy furry bolero. Yummies! <3 XD And seems fitting for a bunny. *nodnod*

Just to be clear, I was suggesting finished and detailed penciling. In other words, just linework.
I think you highly underestimate the appeal of your own linework. Even without color the Snow Bunnies designs are incredibly diverse. Right now they are all the same character, but you could change all the character's faces (nationality) and give them different poses. Think...group photo shot of Sissified Snow Bunnies who are celebrating their first trip.

I'm pleased to hear you like them Francesco. :) And both choices have some lovely & playful elements. :)

I absolutely love them all, but the better for me are the top center and the bottom left ones

I understand what you mean (i think) in regards to the idea of creating pencilled designs rather than proper coloured and finished images, but to be honest, I'm not really sure how a patreon full of outfit sketches would really work. A Set of Penciled outfit designs can be nice, and I think (and hope) they work well as part of the working process for these pin-up images, but at a certain point my concern would be that those pencil designs would all start to run-together visually and lose their appeal.

Despite my eagerness to create a Snow-Bunny Pin-Up, this outfit/ look has genuinely been the hardest look to come up with (to date), All the designs above are ok, and have nice elements, but none of them stand out or feel special.

I can't bring myself to decide which Snow Bunny I like, there are too many design elements I really like from various iterations that they can't all fit in one character. Hence my rationale for wanting to see a group of Snow Bunnies. If I can only see it penciled, it certainly would be good enough for me.

Honestly I think you should pencil more Snow Bunnies and skip the coloring. Save the coloring for another time or outsource it to someone who is willing to do it for nothing. I think your pencils are good enough to showcase on their own. Not having to color it would free up more time to draw more characters. A penciled pin-up of a group of various Snow Bunny Sissies would be delightful sight to see. It's pretty clear that you can do this.

Thank you for the suggestion Seamus, Thigh High Uggs are an interesting idea.... They will be experimented with. :)

It's ok if you can't decided Ben, they all have a reasonably varied selection of qualities, although I am also of the mindset that Over the Top is usually better, although it will all come down to how well this particular pose handles 'over-the-top' as the board covers a good portion of the upper body, making the 'over the top' elements on the upper body much harder to see. So, time as well as trial and error will all be very valuable for this character. :)

Thank you Sailor Bear Zodar. There are little bits and pieces I like from most of them, but I'm still trying to find the 'right look'. ^^

im a fan of the middle top and the lower middle and right. i feel like thigh high uggs could be a fun idea for this.

I’m really liking the direction of top row far right, and bottom row center, but they all have special charms.
