Feeling Refreshed/Refreshing

Just got home from my one week trip feeling refreshed and ready to dive into content for February. Also, I did a lot of thinking about BearBoss in general, but more specifically the Patreon, and generating more value from it. I know ideally, I'd be focused full time on writing, performing, producing and releasing content all the time, but the reality is I'm not quite there yet.

That being said, I recognize that my tiers are, what you might call, premium. I'll be completely honest, when I first set up this Patreon, I had no idea what I was doing. I never in a million years expected anyone to sign up for my Patreon at all, let alone the higher tiers. I've been thinking a lot about it, and especially in light of the current economic climate, it's a heavy ask.

As far as feeling like you're getting your subscription's worth going forward, I'll at the very least try to post a little more often. It's not something I'm super skilled at, so bear (lol) with me as I figure that out.

Secondly, I would love to be able to interact with you all more often! I've been told that content creation is often a lonely pursuit, and I can honestly say I feel that. Aside from a few folks, I often feel like I'm just kinda doing my own thing. I get that because of the adult nature of my bestest content, some might shy away from engaging more readily, preferring to passively consume, and that's totally understandable!

Then of course, there's always the inevitable creative/writer's block which comes with artistic endeavours (and yes! I do think of the writing and performing as artistic). If all I was doing was occasionally rubbing one out on microphone and talking dirty, that would be one thing, but part of what I love doing (and I think a lot of you enjoy!) is that I build characters and stories around the juicy bits. Of course, that requires a lot of extra time and energy that I LOVE spending, but there are some months when I'm running low because of a variety of things, be it a crazy period at work, or personal or health stuff. That's life, and for the most part, I've been pretty good at staying on top of things.

But ultimately, I'd love this to be sustainable, both for me as a creator, but also you as a subscriber! So expect to see some polls and surveys in the very near future as I start to figure out how to reach that goal!

I'll be posting what to look forward to this month once I finalize the idea that I have rattling around for this month's content. February is a short month, and tempus fugit!

That was a lot more than I was expecting to post. As a reward for making it this far, here's a picture of my keyboard that I use to compose and produce the music you hear in my audios! Okay, I know that's not a reward, but like, I'm trying here. Haha.
