quick psa regarding my sims!
Added 2025-04-27 23:22:51 +0000 UTChey everyone! i just wanted to share a quick heads up regarding the use of the sims i put up for download. i'm always happy to give you creative freedom to use & enjoy them, that's why i share them in the first place.
however, i do want to draw a clear line: taking my sims, making small edits, & then reuploading them to your own patreon (or any platform) as your "original" content is NOT okay.
to be clear, i'm not accusing any of my patreon members here directly, i’ve already blocked the creator's account i came across while cc shopping recently. i noticed one of the sims looked very familiar to mine, & after checking out the rest of their uploads, it was obvious they had taken several of my sims, made minor changes, & reuploaded them as their own. even their cover photos & post disclaimers were nearly identical to mine, down to the wording...
i'm not going to name the creator because that's not the kind of energy i want to put out, but if you're still able to access my patreon page & continue to claim my sims as yours, just know that i'm aware of it & don't appreciate it. i've always been 100% okay with letting people use my sims, because i understand not everyone feels like making their own sims or some people just love the way i make mine... but i've never been okay with this. if you are a sims content creator & want to use my sims for videos or anything, that is completely fine as long as you credit me for the sims. but absolutely do NOT claim them as yours even if you attempt to change them.
i just needed to get this off my chest before posting anymore sims for download. thank you so much to the rest of you for being so respectful & supportive, it means the world to me! ♡

Thank you! I really appreciate your empathy & understanding. You're so right, many people don’t realize that this is art theft, & how deeply it affects creators who pour so much of themselves into their work. Your support means the world to me :')

It’s incredibly frustrating & disheartening to put so much time & love into creating content/sims, only to have them completely ripped off like you said. Knowing that others understand & stand with me really helps during moments like this. I appreciate it! ♡
