I hope all of you've been doing well this last month, starting the year off with a good start.
I've only got three chapters for you this month - though one of them is being delayed by a couple days. I have the next chapter to "A Hero's Blessing" almost written out - I've just been too busy the last couple days to actually spend any time finishing it up, but I'm hoping that I'll have it posted this weekend. Once that's done, the chapter will segue into 'Hebe's Intervention', and we'll be off to the Dam, which I'm looking forward to.
Next, we have the next chapter for "The Man Who Won't Die Meets Death". In this one, I'm trying to build up Hela's past. Because even though she's insanely powerful, we really don't know anything about her past. I kinda needed it, because in order to have any sort of redemption arc, It's kinda important to know the reasons why somebody did it to begin with. And honestly... We don't have a clue. So hopefully I pulled it off alright.
And third, I wrote a one-shot based on the TV series 'Loki'. Now, the truth is, I don't really like Loki... Especially as most people write him. And I don't really like time travel stories either. So it must seem really odd for me to write a story about 'Loki', which is about both of those very things. And I acknowledge that - but the scene in particular where Classic Loki dies really hit me, and I wanted to write a scene where he actually gets to meet his brother once more.
I've been meaning to get to the next chapter of My Demonic Academia - It's just shy of being completed and ready to post, but I keep on getting distracted... Hopefully I'll be able to fix that this month after I finish the chapter for A Hero's Blessing.
