I planned to have the Caitlyn animation done by the end of this month, but unfortunately I was unable to complete it. Been running into issues setting up some simulations and getting "good" lighting in my scene. At this point in time, I am about 90% done. I am expecting to finish this animation sometime next week. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please hang on just a little longer.
Hello everyone! I have a few screenshots for my next animation featuring Caitlyn! I managed to throw together a "Piltover" type of scene. I think my modeling skills are getting better. The lighting is terrible though so I plan on redoing all of it after.
I felt that I haven't been learning as much recently in my career so I decided to try out a bunch of new things I have never done before.
I decided to animate this project using blender's built in NLA editor. That way my animation data is more modular and editable.
The second new major thing is liquid simulations. Up till this point, I've been getting away with basic stuff, but now I want to simulate the cum with proper collisions and flow. If I manage to get this right, all my future animations will benefit from it.
The last major point in this animation is going to be a Oner or "long take". What that means is that this is going to be a long, uninterrupted camera shot with no cuts. Normally, I would have multiple scenes and animated them accordingly. What makes this difficult is that now I have to create unique animations for the transitions between poses. Having said that, I found the best way to do this is all POV.
As of now, the estimated runtime for this animation is projected to be 1 minute 20 seconds. I'm a bit away from completion, but I'll be releasing before the end of this month so look forward to it.
