2024-01-31 22:46:03 +0000 UTCLoved the visuals of the tongs! Super nice. I’d like to see beeswax paper (for keeping food fresh) as a trigger sometime, if you’re looking for new ones! It makes a great sticky/crinkly sound, without the usual harshness of crinkles.

2024-01-31 20:31:08 +0000 UTCLove the idea of a home ec class. Lots of good sounds. I personally really liked the sound of the spatula. The wood makes nice sounds. I love candles with wooden wicks because of the crackly sounds when lit. Maybe include the sound of pouring, maybe water into a pot, and stirring with the spatula? Tapping the sides of the pot as you stir. Also, agree with the sound of parchment or even aluminum foil, it's nice. Whenever you "reset" your palette, your sensitivity to detecting sweet and salty is insane 🤯 Makes you realize how much sugar and salt you've been consuming and how numb your taste buds can become.

2024-01-31 19:57:39 +0000 UTCI actually made my own star crunches at Christmas and part of my baking. I'm in Canada, but the whole sugar thing is crazy here also. As a baker seeing some if the sugar and fats that go into things is crazy. Another trigger to add to the snack scenario is a icecream/cookie scoop with the lever. The clicking of the gears has always been a nice in my opinion. Could be scooping some icecream or cookie dough to bake. Maybe set up a tray and use the crinkly parchment idea Nocturne suggested!

2024-01-31 19:27:02 +0000 UTCOh my gosh, did I remember to tip you off about parchment paper? It's the stuff that's like heavy duty wax paper for baking. One of the tricks you can do to make it lay flat when it comes off the roll very curled up is to crumple it up tightly, and then spread it out. I did that a couple of times and I realized that the crinkly sound would probably be amazing for ASMR. You can do it multiple times and it still makes great crunch sounds. And if you're going to do a Home Ec RP, this would be the perfect time to use that.
