Alice Oseman actually has a Patreon where she releases about one page per day of Heartstopper Volume 6, which would be the beginning of season 4 on the tv series (if we get one). So Alex's funny little reenactment of Alice feverishly writing isn't too far off from reality, tbh!

alice said in an interview that 4 seasons would wrap the show up perfectly with s3 covering volumes 4+5 and the this winter novella and s4 would cover volume 6 and the nick and charlie novella so fingers crossed for a renewal!! ❤️❤️

I’ve read that they weren’t the full and completed edits - colour match and effects were missing, so watching the leaked ones would be a pretty pointless imo.

They are introducing Nick’s aunt this season, played by Hayley Atwell, and I’m wondering if she will fill some of that gap we will have with Olivia not in this season.

I just heard about those leaked episodes yesterday. But I’ve only seen people posting about NOT watching them. I hope that continues to be the case. As much as I am dying to see the next season, I will not watch until Oct 3rd!!

Without giving anything away, the first 2 seasons essentially covered about 7 months. From what I’ve seen in the pics & clips that have been released, season 3 will cover almost a full year. So we will be thru the 5th book & 1 novella when this is done. But I know Alice has been working on book 6. Plus there’s another book that is set later. So hopefully we’ll still get at least another season!!

Josh, I just want you to know that I am a cat person. (3 rescue cats) Not a spoiler, because it was announced and publicised some months ago, unfortunately, Olivia Coleman is not appearing as Nick’s Mum in season 3 because of her other filming commitments. I don’t know how the absence of such an important character and relationship is going to be handled, but I can’t imagine that another actress will be taking that role. It’s possible that this could be the final season if it covers material from book 5 and incorporates the novellas This Winter and Nick and Charlie, but it would be great if we got at least one more season..🤞

Okay we need to get this straight once and for all: Charlie, Tao, Isaac - year 10 in seasons 1&2. Tori, Nick, Elle, Tara, Darcy, Ben, Sahar, Imogen - year 11 in seasons 1&2. Which is why Nick sat GCSEs and Charlie didn't, and is also why Tori was at prom - it was year 11 prom for both schools.
