Slight Pause in Function for the Month

So, the short story first. I will not be able to do this month's run of Patreon commissions. I am working on the Suggestion Box image for the month, and will have last month's Art Folder live soon. Details follow below:

I've mentioned these things on my Patreon Discord server, since it's easy to keep people updated there. I have been a little less able to keep up with things on the website proper, and I apologize for that. But if you've been active in the server, this is all stuff you know.

For the rest of you, last week my wife Emi and I took a short trip to get away from the house for a few days. Our dog Ester had been feeling very ill, and we wanted to give her some time with nature to hopefully perk her up. She was an old girl, and we didn't know how much time we had left with her. During the trip, we found out. Her condition kept getting worse, and we booked a time with a vet to have her put down. We'd agreed years ago that, when she wasn't enjoying life anymore and was just putting up with the pain, we'd let her go.

We went into the vet and, without going into the heavy details, let Ester sleep. Emi and I have been mourning since then, though we're both trying to get back up on our feet. Bills and such don't wait just because you're sad your dog is gone, after all.

I owe a client a large order that I've been chipping away at over the month, so I think I'm going to take this month to focus on that as much as possible, though I'll be getting this month's Suggestion Box image done first. I think those two images will be good to get me back in the saddle.

I apologize that I won't be taking on orders like I'm supposed to, and I doubly apologize that this is the latest in a string of on-and-off failures to meet my obligations to you. I know many of you understand, and I thank you deeply for that. But I also understand if this is a problem for those of you who joined to get certain promised perks that I've had a hard time delivering on. I've had a decent number of folks leave over this, and I understand, but I'd ask that if you're disappointed, please reach out and we'll see if we can make things right.
