Boobamancer, New Loyalty Reward, Released!

Hey friends,

Here's a little refresher to everyone: last year, we figured that if we'd keep releasing 4-5 models each month, we'd be making over 50 models a year. At this point, adding a couple extra regular models a year as loyalty reward didn't seem like a good enough reason for anyone to stick around. And it was also becoming increasingly hard to figure out what kind of loyalty reward would satisfy most of our audience, considering the wide variety of tastes. We decided that the best compromise is something that nobody likes and thus we focused on using LR as an excuse to develop and expand our own Bulkaverse with new original characters, designed based on ideas by our community.

Last time, we offered Mokka, a coffee-addict barista who just wants to have a quiet life and a good night's sleep; yet both commodities are not on the table in this town. And now, we introduce Boobamancer, a cult leader that would love nothing more than to take her followers and leave the town, but circumstances make it impossible.

Boobamancer started out as a joke on our Discord until it quickly spiraled out of control. Then Vik featured her on a couple sketches, more people caught on the #justiceforboobamancer, so we decided to take it the whole way and let Vik turn BM into a full-fledged character while I wrote her into our Bulkaverse lore. Speaking or Bulkaverse, I'd love to tell you we are working on something to develop it into a solid story, but at the moment it's a bit too early to speak of any details. Stay tuned!

Character backstory: BM always knew how to attract attention: respect, awe, love, admiration, lust, jealousy, disdain, hatred - people had all sorts of feelings towards her, but nobody could ever ignore her. And why would they? After all, she was the only real gem in this dump of a town. Everyone else wasn't even worth touching the soles of her sandals. Except for just one dough-brained girl.

As unbelievable as it sounds, BM and Bulka used to be best friends for the longest time. Even her current unfortunate name, Boobamancer, was originally a silly joke made by Bulka on that fateful evening with a couple of muffins, a latte with the weirdest art, a thrown eggplant, and a broken nose. On that night, they were the very first people to obtain their powers. And the only two people who knew the real secret of granting powers to others. Months later, BM couldn't help but fondly think back to that night and wish her days were filled with more such moments. Alas, that was in another lifetime, and things would never be the same again.

Unlike Bulka, BM's new powers weren't all that extraordinary; they simply made it easier to latch onto a specific feeling and amplify it, dampening everything else. What better ability can there be for someone as fabulous as BM? So when the silly pastry-head jokingly suggested starting her own cult, BM knew it was time for the whole world to recognize its mistress. Thus, she began working towards that goal with Bulka by her side. Until everything changed on the night of the living bread. Until her only friend betrayed her and trapped them both in this town.
