Esquie (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33) Released!

Bonjour, mes amis!

Sometimes, we feel the need to test the limits of our printers and make something BIG. And it doesn't make much bigger than Esquie (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33). Our guest artist Valentina Iudina has performed a truly magnificent job on this model and our team has been toiling away for three weeks to bring it to your printers.

First of all, the exact scale is hard to determine, since the character seem to change his size all the time, so I'd say it's anywhere between 1/32 to 1/8. We wanted to make sure it could be added to the diorama without being unreasonable to print, let alone cut for smaller printers. As such, we settled on 300mm tall, and even that much is pushing the boundaries, because it's practically a huge soft ball. In case you want more numbers, the model fits on 9 full Elegoo Saturn 3U plates and weights almost 2kg. Oh, and it might be hard to believe, but we managed to make sure each piece is small enough it can be printed on Elegoo Mars 4U. Just don't ask me how many plates that would take.

We decided to change our approach to cutting, so instead of blocks he mostly consists of outer walls, meaning it's completely empty and you can theoretically store something in it or even turn it into a fountain. Just remember resin is not food friendly, so maybe try to avoid filling it with wine? ^_~

The model is available to all subscribers until end of August 2025.
