Scamellia, New Loyalty Reward, Released!

Hey friends,

Once every few months we create an original character that becomes a part of our "Unbreadable" web comic (which is available in our Discord server). We sculpt a model and distribute it as a Loyalty Reward to everyone who reaches three consecutive subscription months. Up until this month, it was Agent Karen, an investigator with special powers to match her name. And now she gives way to Scamellia, a Customer Service contractor hired by Rummates because of her uncanny ability to keep clients happy.

Character description: Let's get one thing straight: working in customer service sucks. Day in and day out, you have to deal with an endless stream of people whose sole purpose is to complain about your company. And since you're the only person they can reach, all those complaints are aimed right at you, as if you're the living embodiment of the company and everything that’s wrong with it. It certainly doesn't help if your company is just as terrible as they say, but it’s not like you can do anything about it. All you can really do is be nice and not take it personally. It's definitely not a job for everyone. Luckily, Scamellia was practically born into it. Largely because she doesn't give two craps about the company, its customers, or their problems—all she cares about is her KPI, which is directly tied to her bonus. She understands the true purpose of the customer service job: it’s not to solve clients' problems; it’s to keep them happy and eager to return for more. And really, all you need for that is a few sweet words and some mild bullshitting behind them. Well, that and having special powers that guarantee you can spout any nonsense, and the customers will eat it up like an exquisite meal. Then you can finally return to things that actually matter, like your smartphone or anything that doesn’t involve the job, really. What's that? Unlike Scamellia, you don't have such sweet powers? Well, tough luck, because otherwise, the job really sucks!
