SO many incredible moments in this one. Amy and Rory.... The Doctor and River.... Canton was a hoot. Just such a memorable episode.

I absolutely love love the River Song thread! It is the best of any other thread... classical or modern. River is such a great character.

I agree, that first/last kiss scene is heartbreaking. 1) knowing that you'll never get to kiss the love of your life again, but 2) having that last kiss be all awkward, it's just so sad. Wonderful reaction Jules, I'm so glad you loved this opening 2-parter. It really felt like a finale to me, it's so epic.
