Hentai fighters VR 1.2.3(improving game system and animation)

Thank you for waiting, as previously announced, I've released version 1.2.3. This version includes many improvements to animations and the game system, as well as enhancements to enemy AI logic. I've also attached a video sample for you to see. In it, you can check out the improvements in sidestepping, intense consecutive attacks, and hip attacks. In particular, I've made significant changes to three characters: Marie, Miyabi, and Shady. I've been concerned about the low frequency of enemy attacks for a while, so I believe that addressing this has made the game more enjoyable. The higher the difficulty, the more frequent the attacks. Please give it a try.

The following are the updates.

- removed automatic health regeneration

- added a rest action

 - resting can be done by pressing the R key

 - while resting, stamina is recovered. Unlike taunting, it can be canceled at any time.

- added step movement

 - enemies now have a chance to sidestep before making an attack

 - players can now perform step movements by pressing the directional keys while in a guard state

- removed the player's dodge action

- improved animations

 - fixed hip attack and fart-related animations for all characters

 - modified Grab and Pin animations for specific characters (Shuka, Shady, Marie)

- adjusted each character's attack motions to always include punch, kick, and hip attack

- changed dodging to sometimes countering with a hip attack instead

- altered enemy attack frequency

 - enemies now more likely to launch consecutive attacks on the player

- changed attack sounds

 - hip attack

 - kick

- modified hip attacks so guarding against them breaks guard and causes stagger

- balanced so that receiving attacks multiple times in a row makes staggering less likely

Definitely noticed the attack frequency adjustment in your latest update, I think those new features you’re working on will be great additions to the game as well! Something I came across as I was playing was a few times where the girls would combo into special moves & I think that would be an excellent way to incorporate the difficulties, don’t know how simple a task the coding of something like that would be, but I think it would work really well for upping the difficulty, that & farting more often since it forces the player on the defensive, but for now the updates you want to make sound great! I’ll always be here to help you perfect this game how YOU want it to be w/ my feedback!

Implementing a CPU versus CPU mode wouldn't be too difficult, but it's not planned at the moment. However, I might consider adding it. You're right, there's currently no explanation of the basic controls. I'd like to create a tutorial mode, but it's been pushed back a bit. I'm thinking of doing so after making sufficient improvements to the combat mechanics.

I've promptly fixed the issue where the attack frequency didn't change with the difficulty level. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I acknowledge the problems with the effectiveness of dodging and the excessively long hit stun. For now, I'm considering: - Strengthening the dodge action - Introducing a "perfect guard" feature (where timing your guard right interrupts the opponent's attack, causing them to stagger) - Allowing attacks of the same type to cancel each other out - Limiting the number of consecutive attacks I would like to give more thought to what should be enhanced based on the difficulty level. Enhancing the AI's thought routines is challenging but enjoyable. Thank you for enjoying the game and for making suggestions to improve it!

So now that I’ve had more time to dive into it here’s some useful feedback: -I didn’t notice any difference in the attack frequencies based on difficulty, they seem to relentlessly assault you on all difficulties -The dodge mechanic is rather ineffective, you can’t really get away from any of the moves except for grabs / pins -There’s too much hit stun on block, you’re not able to counter if some of the girls don’t stop attacking, you should be able to counter w/ successful blocks but the stun lasts too long. A major example of this is Sophie’s kick combo, if she spams it (which she will) you really can’t do anything -The game can sometimes crash while it tries to load in the characters upon first booting up I’d suggest dodging using more stamina but granting you invincibility frames so you can actually escape (or just dodging further to get enough distance to not get hit). I personally think instead of attack frequency, the difficulties should affect how often the girls block / dodge & go for pins, grabs, & specials since they deal the most damage. Constructive out of the way, I think the no healing is a great move (though it’d be nice if it was toggle-able in the config). The rest mode is an excellent way for the player to have to go on the defensive to regain stamina. I love the new pin system where the farts make the meter go down (I see you took inspiration from my previous suggestion haha) & the super armor the girls receive when attacking is potentially the best addition since it takes away the player’s ability to mash the attack buttons & win every fight (expect against Marie, who has always dodged away). Now I want to stress my understanding that this is YOUR game & you are the only 1 making it, don’t overload your plate, these are just some humble suggestions from someone who loves your product & can see the potential it has to be even greater. Thanks for making the best hentai game out there, I look forward to the next update!

This is my favorite update! I love being the little guy and being attacked! I'd love the ability to watch the CPU versus CPU mode if possible! And maybe an explanation of the basic controls?
