So for this one, I wanted to pause the other storylines and focus for a moment on the aesthetic of Themyscira itself, the day to day lives of the Amazons, the kind of experience Dick and Kory would have just 'on a day off.' Not just sex, but sex with an openness and a sense of community that would resonate with Kory, and with Dick's reasoning for being so attracted to her, coming from the closed-off, insular world of Gotham.
Cassie, of course, is overdue for an appearance. I wanted to very quickly get her into the action and able to participate in the story, since we must assume she's as intimate with Diana and Donna as they are with each other. Naturally, Kory is happy to involve herself in Cassie's ongoing education, and we'll hear more from her in the next chapter, as well as Jason.
