Added 2022-05-27 01:36:20 +0000 UTCIt's finally here! Page 3 along with some work stages. I really like how it turned out. It's not perfect but let's be real, that was never gonna be the case anyway.
I originally wanted to finish the 4 suit challenge of Renee before this so I could spark some buzz before dropping it but I'm just too excited to wait. I'm just gonna post page 3 everywhere tomorrow whether I finish 4suit or not.
Wow. I mean it's just a comic page but finally finishing this piece that's been sitting in a folder for 9 months just feels...cathartic. IT was every bit as hard as I imagined it would be. I definitely felt like I had to exceed expectations with it and that's exactly why it took so long. It's rough when you not only compare yourself to others, but even compare yourself to yourself and still feel inadequate. Looking back, I don't know why. The first 2 pages look outdated to me now haha. Even through all my bs and self doubt, Rene (the creator/writer of Renee) encouraged me along the way and never got sick of my constant delays. He went through a traumatic experience recently and that lit a fire in me to finish this page. Sad that it took all that to get me on track but I'm glad it happened. So this page, (and every Renee material I make honestly) is especially dedicated to him.
With this page, I vow to never leave a project hanging for that long ever again. With that being said, I feel like I'm forgetting something...
