Going Forward
Added 2023-08-10 15:17:41 +0000 UTCI thought I already made this post but I'll set the record straight now. My twitter account got nuked cuz of the Nani image (probably cuz Lilo was in it). I sent an appeal, it got rejected so the account is done. This was a huge blow to me mentally and had it not been for all your support and kind words, I would have just abandoned "MisfitRogue". But still, I'm not that interested in continuing online in full capacity. I'm discontinuing patreon sketches and commissions. I just want to continue with what ideas I have for Jenny and Renee. Only the $3 tier is open now (and I might even lower the price in future).
I will honor the $10 patrons for July and August sketches. After that, I'm drawing for myself. I'll continue to post on DA and newgrounds.

A sad day for the art world however i will give some advice 1.create comic books/strip shorts and sell them exclusively on patreon and gumroad or any other site. Keep advertising on DA but just things you want to show. 3. Set up a portfolio and send to art studios or advertising companies it can't hurt to try and get noticed in the corporate world

Now for a piece of wisdom: MODS, ADMINS, AND CORPORATE CAN BE VERY STUPID. Sometimes they’re too sensitive, sometimes they want to censor the “wrong voices”, and sometimes they just simply want to appease and placate. I used to work in the food industry, and had an amazing coworker. Then one day, he got fired after ONE LITTLE CUSS whilst spilling food. WHY? Because corporate wanted to please the candy-ass customer that reported him. In short, don’t mull on some suspender that probably gets off on silencing users on a whim. Embrace your fans and followers, who love your art and are already willing support you. I hope my reply, as long as it is, provides some encouragement. Keep up the amazing work! :D
