Honestly, I think saving him would be more interesting. Especially since 'Fate' is dead, this would be a neat deviation. Her having an Ancient Dragon as an ally would probably be super useful. She could always kill the other Ancient Dragon for it's heart. In the case that she does kill him, what will happen to the Anomalous one's power? I don't expect it to just dissipate as it seems to have some persistent corrosive effect. Maybe she can use the [Ancient Dragon Heart] as a container for the power, that she can siphon over time? I am also enjoying the interactions between Slate, Nol’viz and the others. I hope she joins the group permanently, just for the comedic potential.
