Pledges go down the hoooole
Added 2020-01-26 23:39:15 +0000 UTCSo a patron who had pledged 100 dollars decided not to renew their pledge for another month, which happens (especially in this economy), but it does put me in a bit of a spot with regards to Ending At Beginnings, since the idea there is that one or two people can get us to the next chapter with a minimum of spending.
It isn't really fair to expect either someone else to come along and spend 50-100 dollars a month, or to wait for 100 people to pledge a dollar more, or anything like that. I mean, what am I, George R.R. Martin, I'm gonna keep people waiting for months on end? Nosir.
So I thought what'd be fair is to--in the case of large shifts like this--reset the counter and say that five dollars from wherever we are now, that's when we do the next chapter. Cool?
