There is a third option. I actually did end up finding some old, OLD fics that apparently people are still interested in. I wouldn't feel right charging for those, since the only work I'd put into them would be correcting typos, but it seems like having them as a bonus for people who pledge more wouldn't be too out of line. And concepts like Arkham Hypnotist or Dick Grayson Harem Anime could be stories that replace Ending at Beginnings or The Summers Drive when those fics wrap up. Just a thought.
Also, I feel like this whole incentive thing should reset every month so it never gets too far out of hand. As I've mentioned, if a large patron decides to take off, that shouldn't scuttle a fic, and if someone pledges 100 dollars, that shouldn't put me behind owing twenty chapters. So something where I adjust to the new baseline at the start of every month seems reasonably low-stakes...
