Don't Look Away update

Cass’s bikini was pale pink, almost lavender, going well with her butterscotch skin and the taut curves that enlivened it. Both top and bottoms were bordered in a modicum of frilly lace, making the ensemble look more like lingerie than a swimsuit. And with her leggy body nearly bare, Kon let out a whistle of appreciation.
“Wow!” Steph laughed. “How much use do you figure on getting out of that top before it pops, hon?”
Cass blushed. Modest as her chest was, the bikini top was two sizes too small, stretched to the limit and not quite covering all of her thrusting breasts. But the limitations accentuated the valley between her breasts and the shape of their curvature, while letting her nipples indent the material no matter how soft they were.
“Who cares?” Cass replied. “I could… go without it… anytime!”
“Right on!” Steph turned to Linda, grinning. “Think we should lose the tops if she does? All solidarity like?”
Linda chuckled. “I’d say that depends on who has the best to show.”
Steph shook her head. “You’re gonna infect me with that Kryptonian do-goodness. The two of you are both great. And obviously I’m awesome. How about it, Kon? No weak link in the chain, is there?”
“Don’t look at me,” Kon protested. “I don’t see anyone taking their top off in solidarity with me.”
“Patience,” Cass teased, causing Steph’s face to freeze in open-mouthed amazement.
When was the last time she was licking me, touching me, making me come? Cass wondered. She likes my breasts. Do I want her to like my breasts? I wanted this bikini to make my breasts look good. For her? I hope I didn’t get this bikini for her. Kon is looking too. He likes my breasts. Probably more than Cass. He’s not comparing them to Linda’s…
“Hey, let’s dance!” Steph cried, lunging up to her feet like she was attacking the sky. She grabbed Linda’s hand and pulled her up like she weighted nothing.
The radio was playing music that pumped and throbbed enough to dance to. There were no flashing lights, no other bodies, but its pulse seemed to beat in the shadows creeping along the sand.
“Fine by me,” Kon said, coming to his feet.
Cass glanced at his snug swim trunks and the bulge they contained. A man’s bulge. This probably seemed so juvenile to him, clowning around with a bunch of kids when he’d had so many girlfriends and adventures and been to so many more places than Gotham, but he was there, her date, and she’d rather think of him than think of Steph. Dream of him instead of Steph.
Away from the blankets, Cass watched Steph undulate herself beside Linda, shaking her pretty ass, her breasts close enough to the other blonde that not even her bikini could keep them from nudging Linda’s creamy skin. Linda the alien, who was still more normal than Cass, who could talk and talk just like Steph did. Maybe feel like Steph did.
Kon took Cass’s hand, led her up one sand dune and down another, to a little hollow of beach where the music could still be heard but seemed to come from far away. He slid his other hand around Cass’s waist. All he touched was her naked skin.
Her excitement fluttered like a living thing preparing to take flight. It wasn’t really dancing, how they were stamping their feet in the sand, stumbling and tripping, but they were close to each other and wearing little enough that they could feel the heat of each other’s bodies.
Kon’s arm tightened on her waist. Cass pressed herself against him. Her swimsuit seemed like a trifling annoyance, ruining the illusion that she and he were wearing nothing at all.
“You’re shaking,” Kon whispered in her ear. “Are you scared?”
He knows there’s something wrong, Cass thought. I’ve tried not to look at Steph—maybe I’ve tried too hard not to look at Steph. I should be trying to be a good date for Kon. How many women would kill to be where I am now? Probably not as many as he thinks…
“No…” she breathed. “You don’t scare me…”
Kon squeezed her fingers affectionately. He had no doubt she liked him. She had given him all kinds of come-ons. So why was she so fidgety now? Maybe when Linda and Steph went off together, she’d cool down and give him a real chance. She wanted something, that was written all over her.
And it was only a matter of time before Steph got what she wanted.
“Good,” Kon said, squeezing Cass in closer. “Because you’re the biggest badass I know, so I’m counting on you to protect me if we hear any weird noises in the dark.”
He just wanted to luxuriate in her: her closeness , her softness, the feel of her, and most especially the warm, firm push of her proud breasts into his chest.
“Why don’t we go… for a walk?” Cass asked him. “We can leave Linda and Steph… alone… for a bit…”
Kon resisted the urge to pump his fist. Forget body language, Cass was reading his mind.
A minute later they were leaving the music behind, walking along the cool sand just close enough to the waves for the surf to get their feet if it was feeling ambitious.
Cass held onto her beach bag like a security blanket. Her skin prickled with excitement. She was finally alone with her date, away from Steph and Steph with Linda. Maybe that would make things more natural.
She fit her slender hand into Kon’s big one and led him to a moss-covered log that had washed ashore. They sat down on it. Cass said nothing.
“Everything alright?” Kon asked her. “Is it weird that you and Steph are Batpeople and me and Linda are Superpeople?”
“No,” Cass said. “Just can’t…. be here like Steph is.”
“I get it,” Kon said, moving his left arm around her waist. “You’re more awkward than she is. That’s okay. Linda’s a lot more awkward than me. So her and Steph, they have a good amount of awkward in their relationship, and so do we. We all balance out.”
Cass looked out at the waves, shivering. It was hard not to think, after the way he’d described it, that she and Steph balanced out. And he was telling her that so did Steph and Linda. How was she supposed to stop thinking of Steph now?
Kon put his hand on her shoulder and she automatically turned to face him, seeing his eyes searching her face. Her lips parted—her heart was pounding so hard she felt like that sound would come out rather than anything else.
“You’re one hell of a girl,” Kon said, applying a little pressure to the arm he had around her waist, but not enough to actually pull her closer.
She gave in to it some—leaning over to him until her shoulder touched his armpit. His right leg was hot against her left one. She had a nonsense thought of wrapping both legs around one of his meaty thighs and warming herself up that way.
“You are too,” she breathed.
Kon blinked. “Guy. One hell of a guy. I know I’m all sensitive, but I’m not that sensitive.”
“Sorry… I’m used to talking to Steph…”
“Well, maybe I should help you remember I’m not her,” Kon said, his mouth moving closer to hers.
Guilt swept over Cass. She wasn’t present the way she was with Steph. Kon’s lips brushed against hers, his tongue flitting between them. Still, she opened her mouth, tilting her head back and letting him kiss her.
It was good. It was what she wanted—what Steph would’ve wanted if she were her. A normal relationship, and Kon was everything a girl could look for in a relationship, good-looking and successful and nice.
But a week before she was fucking Steph and it was so good, she couldn’t get enough of it. She still wanted to be that girl, the happy and content and in love girl, even if she was weird. She didn’t know if she could be normal, even with Kon.
Still, she grabbed hold of him, her tongue merging with his, the flickers of electricity off of them shooting down deep to her core. They weren’t ecstatic, but they soothed the raw edges inside her and she felt confident instead of nervous. Kon wasn’t dry land, but he was a lifeline. Wasn’t that important when you felt like you were drowning?
His lips drew away from hers, but Cass moved with him, keeping her tongue stroking at the inside of his mouth to prolong the kiss. Finally, breathing demanded that they break apart.
Partly to let him gasp in air and partly to see how far he could push this passionate reaction of Cass’s, Kon slid his hand up Cass’s belly, into her bikini top. She turned into his touch, arching her chest out for Kon.
“Geez, Cass!” he muttered. “You’ve got a lot of… enthusiasm!”
“I want to be… a good girlfriend,” she breathed. “One you wouldn’t… leave…”
Kon chuckled, not quite understanding. “Not much chance of that, gorgeous. Just relax. We already tried it, remember—it was pretty great! All this is, is a repeat performance.”
Cass smiled despite herself. He knew her—liked her—wanted her. Whatever else he wanted from her, though, he wanted her to enjoy herself. Be happy. Feel good. She looked at him and she couldn’t see anything disingenuous in his whole body. No matter how goofy he was, he was actually one of the most guileless people Cass had ever met.
She drew him in tight and whispered in his ear. “You can repeat yourself with me… as much as you want… Kon…”
Cass saw, by his stiffening, the rush of arousal welling up inside him. She moved in and caught his lips with hers, stroking her tongue rapidly against his. Kon’s hand reached deeper into her top, cupping her breast, his fingertips teasing and tantalizing her covered nipple. Her need was becoming finely honed, sharp-edged, the anticipation such that the thing itself would be better and richer than ever. Not a repeat at all. Maybe it would be even better than with Steph.
She pulled her mouth away, her lips swollen and red, her tongue feeling so untouched it could’ve been numb. And even more than all that, she felt her clit rising inside her bottoms.
“You’re… very good to me… Kon,” she breathed against his throat. “Please make it… always feel… this nice?”
