2024-12-01 20:15:22 +0000 UTCYou have to watch the movies first. The first 3 are relevant to the whole show, and they are really good. One of my favourite movies of all time. And btw this show is set in modern time, so season 1 is like 2018.

2024-07-24 16:53:34 +0000 UTCTheyโre lying the show does a good job at explaining the basics of what happened in the trilogy. You can watch the show and understand perfectly fine.

2024-04-10 08:13:18 +0000 UTCDon't listen to these bums Don, you don't need to watch the previous movies. This is a standalone show and they show enough flashbacks anyway

2024-04-10 02:37:05 +0000 UTCCorrection: only THREE movies. And honestly dude, each one is about an hour and half long. Youโve powered through the MCU and Star Wars, and youโre also tackling X-Men. The Karate Kid trilogy will be cakewalk compared to one of those other franchises alone.
Aldo Gonzales
2024-04-10 02:36:46 +0000 UTC3 movies. Cobra Kai is a show about the cast of the Karate Kid movies 25 years later.

Lightning
2024-04-10 02:26:22 +0000 UTCCool show, bro. But unless you saw the Karate Kid movies beforehand, youโre gonna be spoiled and you might have a hard time understanding certain things here and there.
