Status report

One thing is that I've been fiddling with the oncoming price change, trying to get something that would lighten my workload, but still giving people a bang for their buck. This is something I came up with that I'm pretty happy with.

5 dollars - 250 words

10 - 750 words

15 - 1000

20 dollars - 1250 words

25 dollars - 1500 words

30 dollars - 1750 words

40 dollars - 2500 words

45 dollars - 2500 words (any work three months without update)

50 dollars - 2500 words

100 dollars - 5000 words

Circling around now to take care of some Spider-Man commissions from last month. The client requested an awful lot of stories, so I want to make some headway on their orders before doing anything else. They'll also usually have more of a soft taste in fics--wanting more dialogue and romance than sex scenes--but they also ordered a story with the premise of pretty much 'Kaine and Felicia hook up' and said they don't mind it being R-rated, so we'll see how that goes. Obviously, I always try to keep my commissioner happy, but I'm not sure how much innuendo those two can trade before getting down to business.

(I'd actually intended for there to be a sex scene in The Odd Couple, since that's obviously what happens when you stick Peter and MJ in a confined space for any length of time, but I thought it might be better all around to milk the tension between them. Coming up--MJ *always* spends an hour or so in nothing but a towel after taking a shower, why should her *guest* have a problem with it?)

Likewise, I'm booked way too full to do the pheromone story just as some incentive, but given how people seem way invested in the idea, someone will probably commission it, so I'm not doing too much planning, because they'll probably want Peter to hook up with Clea from Doctor Strange or something. But I do have a vague inkling that it would be fun if Peter were trying to deal with an overarching plotline of some kind, and becoming irresistible to women was just one further complication in him managing to A. stay employed at the Daily Bugle B. fight evil C. keep Mary Jane happy. 

But like I said, it's up to whoever ends up commissioning it, so whoever you are, feel free to ask for Peter Vs. Apocalypse inbetween all the blowjobs.

ETA: And now I'm thinking Peter's current girlfriend, Mockingbird, suddenly gets a lot nicer to Peter. Ask her about her feminist agenda--it's fixing her boyfriend a hearty breakfast.
