Added 2017-12-10 20:58:44 +0000 UTCAs some of you may have noticed, some of my stories have gone missing from FFN and AO3. Long story short, I've received some threatening comments over them. I'm pretty sure they're bogus, but I figure there's no sense taking a chance over posting free porn on the internet, and I'm becoming a little scurrilous about posting so publicly anyway. Either I'm receiving very few comments, I'm receiving nasty comments, or now this. So I'm thinking of some sort of model where I post exclusively here, where at least people have to pay money if they want to berate me--maybe post the first chapters of finished work out there, but otherwise, it might be time to spin this fanfiction thing down.
So yeah, if you have a favorite story of mine, this might be a good time to save it.

Dude, if you do this, at least make a stickied post that people can use to find stories and chapters in order. Otherwise, I don't know how you'd expect people to get started on reading your serial stuff.

As someone who really enjoys your content, I would decidedly prefer you not "spin this fanfiction thing down," but you're the creator, so it's ultimately your decision. If you indeed choose to post mostly or exclusively to Patreon, I'll be here for the foreseeable future, so I have no objection to that choice, especially if it prevents you from harassment or even threats or doxxing. Now, when you advise to save any of your stories that we particularly like, does that insinuate that a complete cleaning of house is a possibility? Also, does this news mean that all the stories that have been taken down (One of which is my commissioned series) be re-uploaded in full here on Patreon?
