THE KRYPTONIAN RESOLUTION

PAGE 1

1.1 - Angle on Superman's face. He is partially transformed into a Doomsday creature. Grayish skin, bony spikes. He is roaring, Wonder Woman’s golden lasso between his jaws like a bridle.

SUPERMAN: RAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

1.2 – We pull back to a full body show. Diana has wrapped the lasso around Superman, knotting his hands behind his back and pinning his arms in place. She holds on tightly. Big Barda and Power Girl hold onto his upper arms and shoulders, holding him in place. It’s King Kong being exhibited in Times Square all over again; he’s trying desperately to break free.

2.1 – Zatanna faces us, hands held up, fingers curled in arcane gestures. She glows with magical energy.

ZATANNA: We don’t have a lot of time, so I’ll be brief.

ZATANNA: Superman has been hit with a dark magic curse. It’s slowly transforming him into his worst fear.

2.2 – As Zatanna continues, we ‘pan’ through the assembled Justice Leaguers. Fire and Ice cling to each other.

ZATANNA: (off-panel) The curse was sex magic. Superman was infected through coitus.

FIRE: Someone gave Superman a magic STD? Who?

ZATANNA: (off-panel) We don’t know. It’s not important right now.

2.3 - Kory and Donna hold hands.

ZATANNA: (off-panel) The only way I can think to stop the curse is to weaken it so much that I can cast a counterspell. And the only way to do that is to infect ourselves with the curse, making it spread itself so thin that it becomes frail.

DONNA: Infect ourselves? So we’ll turn into Doomsdays too?

2.4 - Supergirl, Batwoman. Supergirl is concerned, Batwoman standoffish, her arms crossed.

ZATANNA: (off-panel) No. The curse has an incubation period. Otherwise, Kal would’ve hulked out the moment he orgasmed with whoever it was.

BATWOMAN: But you’re saying we need to have sex with him?

2.5 – A group shot. The restrained Superman, the gathered women, and Zatanna channeling her magical energy.

ZATANNA: Yes. Or he’ll turn into Doomsday forever.
