Added 2019-06-03 23:52:38 +0000 UTCYou know, it's be interesting to have redemption arc type things for characters who were never necessarily evil, but were more like losers--con men, suckers, scumbags, sleazeballs. Someone like Scott Lang. It doesn't quite fit for him to be either a monster trying to make up for all his evil deeds or a courageous whistleblower trying to... continue being good, but I think it'd fit for him to be a constant screw-up who is now trying to genuinely get his life together and walk a higher path.
He's an Avenger, but he also has to deal with his old pals still being full of crazy plans and get-rich-quick schemes.

I can't help but feel that all this crap has been Doom fanboys punishing him for utterly demolishing comic's best villain.

Unlike the MCU version they haven't found a love interest for him, aside from Jessica Jones way back when Bendis introduced her his only real love interest has been the Beetle and she was only in it to steal Pym Particles and when that failed she left. His daytime job? He was on the F4 helping students until his daughter came back to life and he got a steady job at Stark thanks to knowing Tony but left once Cassie went to Miami with her mother. His new security firm he started after following them there to not be far away? Shut down after Beetle left and the others quit. His personal life? He sold out the Avengers to Hydra to save Cassie from a firing squad and was so guilty despite everyone understanding why he did it that he stowed away on a space ship and no one noticed he was gone for weeks.
