Added 2019-07-11 19:00:03 +0000 UTCSo with the Spider-Man CYOA, I was thinking of playing it pretty straight: Peter's love interest is MJ and the romance revolves around reuniting with her. And there's like a plot. With clothing.
But I was also thinking maybe it would be interesting to have sorta 'side stories'. Sort of What Ifs, but more porny. Like, canonically, Peter probably wouldn't use a Jocasta sexbot that Doc Ock left him with or fuck Felicia to prove that it's really him and not Octavius. But if he were to, here's a couple thousand words about how it would go down.
Course, I don't really know how that fits within the CYOA medium. Maybe I could remove the CYOA element and have it be... if we gain five dollars in pledges, you get a bonus scene about this or that. I don't know, I'm just spitballing. You have a comment section, use it.

Sounds like something fun. I haven't delved too much into CYOA but what I have read was interesting enough.

2019-07-12 03:59:34 +0000 UTCI don't know if this will fly with everyone else, but if you want to make it a TRUE CYOA, you could go with a "Return to Page..." once going down a divergent path runs through whatever story said path had to provide.
