So I'm still thinking about that superhero heist story
Added 2019-08-10 00:03:10 +0000 UTCI've got it broken down to a traditional three-act structure: pulling the heist, trying to get away from the bad guys who want the loot back, and alien invasion. That is very hard to fit into a single book, or even a series of books, but I think it'd work well as a comic, where you can be like thirty or forty issues, then wrap it up and go to bed. Something like Superior Foes of Spider-Man, for instance, is seventeen issues... not fifty, not a hundred... and it's still highly regarded. And I'm pretty sure I could get away with an 'R rating' with the right publisher. Yeah, DC doesn't let you show a cock, but I think Image would.
Publishing's weird. There's an issue of Angelus where they show full-on lesbian sex, but no nipples...

Meanwhile, in prose, you can describe full-on penetration, no big deal. Like, things going in. Would a superhero heist comic requite fully inked and colored panels of things going in? Maybe. Maybe not. I'd like the option. I mean if we're taking this Bruce/Selina, Peter/Felicia thing to its logical conclusion, there's gonna be some things. They're gonna go places. Places that've been spanked. Is that in good taste? Well, we stopped short of yiffing, which was an option. They take off the costumes, then they have sex. The exact opposite of yiffing.
