Obviously, given canon and its less than strict adherence to logic and reason, there's a lot of ways this could go. Maybe Van Helsing kills Dracula, so the Brides transfer their sexy allegiance to him? You know Dracula isn't good boyfriend material, Van Helsing is a pretty good-looking guy, and all the Brides really want anyway is to be bred.
