Update

I want to get a good chunk of 'day job' writing done and then get jogging on a new-old project, which I want to get done by the fifteenth of next month. Right now I've got this month pretty well covered, and I'm getting some material done for next month... I'll probably call it by the end of the week and get fully into research and writing again. I'm in this sorta kitschy situation where I had a deadline of last month, and I got a project in, but then the deadline was pushed back to Sept 15, so it'd be possible for me to wrap this other work (which is mostly done already) and get it in by the fifteenth if my first proposal isn't accepted. Which would obviously be a nice bit of job security.
As of now, I'm on a pretty good rotation of binge-watching shows, taking a break from each episode to write a thousand words, and also doing laundry. So I'm staying on top of things.
